Rappers in general are not getting a very good rap, and lately things for Suge Knight are not getting any better in our humble opinion, especially after the recent release of the security video from Tam’s Burgers of Knight in his Ford Raptor during an alleged armed confrontation. The situation came about following Knight’s departure after an argument from the production set of Straight Outta Compton, a film about the NWA.
We do want to warn you that the video contains graphic images. However, the full video released by TMZ of the encounter clearly shows Suge driving his pickup truck up to the parking lot, at which point a discussion between Suge and a number of men begins to take place. One of these men, identified as Cle “Bone” Sloan approaches the driver’s window of the truck. That’s when things begin to go astray, as a few seconds later, Knight hits Sloan with the truck as he is backing out of the parking lot entrance. The next thing you see is Knight driving forward. As he does, he hits Terry Carter. Carter was killed when Knight drove his truck over Carter’s body.
TMZ has claimed that the release of the video was requested by Carter’s family so that people can see for themselves what happened and to end all speculation and rumors surrounding the incident. This video is also an important part of the case against Knight. Knight is now facing one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of hit and run. Knight’s attorney claimed his client was assaulted, and, while trying to get away from his attackers, accidentally ran the two men over. What do you think was going on here?
