Nissan and the Wounded Warrior Project have teamed up to build a 2014 Nissan Titan (with Pro-4X trim) to conquer the Alaskan wilderness with help from fans on social media. NissanUSA is chronicling the build on its YouTube channel.
The first video, or Phase One, shows the new tires and suspension that have been chosen for the truck. A majority of Nissan Trucks Facebook participants (53 percent) chose Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires to replace the stock BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. The stock Rancho suspension was replaced with a high-articulation version chosen by 76 percent of Facebook voters. It features a four-inch PRG Long Travel Kit with Air Lift RideControl airbags, PRG upper control arms, sway bar end links, and front remote reservoir coilovers.
The build continues! Stay tuned to the NissanUSA YouTube channel to see how the Titan progresses as it prepares to take on Alaska.
