If you’ve been in the off-road world, then you’ve probably heard of Glamis and how many people go there during big holidays like Thanksgiving. It’s a time when thousands of off-roaders all across the US bring their ATVs, Dirtbikes, UTVs, Buggies, Prerunners, and more.
All of these people pour into the Glamis area to do one thing, have an awesome time with friends and family shredding through the dunes. It’s also a great place to test and tune new products or new vehicle setups. This year’s Thanksgiving, of course, was no different. Thanks to Perplexed Media, we have an awesome video showing off some of the highlights of Dirt Alliance, Heat Wave Visual, and crew in the dunes.
In the video, you can see everything from prerunners running through whoop sections of sand to dirt bikes clearing massive jumps. Right off the bat, there is a V8 swapped Ford Ranger with long travel suspension flying through some whoops near one of the paved roads.
Later in the video, there are more prerunner Rangers and even a full sized Silverado prerunner. One of the really popular things to see out at the are rear engine buggies that make a massive amount of power. With all the weight hanging over the rear axle and lots power, these buggies end doing wheelies.
In the video there a buggy jumping slightly sideways into a sand bowl and riding the top of the bowl. Moments later that same buggy is doing massive wheels up a sand hill. Be sure to check out the video!
