In the world of rock bouncing, twists and tumbles down potentially large hills are to be expected, but when you put Bobby Tanner behind the wheel of his insane off-road rig, you never quite know what to expect. Check out what we mean in the video above, compliments of Buckin’ Productions.
The Southern Rock Racing Series (SRRS) took to the hills of Rush Off Road Park in Kentucky this last weekend for the third round of its summer series. Bobby Tanner, being the dare-devil that he is, took this leg of the series as a challenge, attempting an amazing climb to the top of one of Rush’s steepest hills. The result, well, was the incredible tumble you witness in the video above.
One of the craziest hill climb/rollover crashes we’ve seen from a Rock Bouncer, Tanner nearly clears the hill in his rig before tumbling end over end a number of times and landing on his roof at the base. In true rock bouncing style, there were plenty of people on hand to help push Tanner’s rig right-side up again and check him over when all was said and done.
Eventually the video catches Tanner getting out of his car to applause and hoops and hollers from the crowd, while many of the witnesses to the crash go a step further by shaking Tanner’s hand over the feat.
Now, Tanner has been the subject of some pretty extreme Rock Bouncer crashes this year, like his recent tumble down Viagra Hill, but he certainly outdid himself on this one. Who knows what the next rock bouncing exhibition could bring!
