With just one Southern Rock Racing Series (SRRS) event left this season, the famed Rock Bouncers are just about done racing for points for 2014. But that hasn’t stopped any of them from having a bit of fun without points being involved, including current SRRS front-runner Tim Cameron. Check out some of Cameron’s fun-loving stunts in the Mad Ram 11 video above!
With 358 points, Cameron is currently leading the Southern Rock Racing Series pack by 14 points, followed closely behind fellow racer Shawn Tolson. But if you know anything about rock bouncing and its competitors, there’s no competition that fun doesn’t go hand-in-hand with.
Recently, Cameron and some of his fellow rock bouncing enthusiasts got together at Gray Rock ORV Park in Gardendale, Alabama, where they ran the famed Cable Hill. Of course, Cameron wasn’t going to take his first “easy” run up the hill too seriously and went back for another round, this time aiming to put on a show.
While the climbing was epic and so was Cameron’s control of his “UnderRated” rig during exhibition, things took a turn when fluid spilled on the rig’s headers and ended up causing a minor fire. Though the rig didn’t suffer much damage and Cameron was just fine, it did burn up some spark plug wires, ending Cameron’s fun for the day.
Knowing Cameron though, this will have no affect on how hard he races at the upcoming Series Finals at Arkansas’s Superlift/Hot Springs ORV Park Saturday, October 11, 2014.
