The Ford Raptor Forum has once again joined forces with Great Lakes Raptor Excursions to set up what could possibly be the largest gathering of Ford SVT F-150 Raptors in the northeast: Havoc in the Hills 2. This four-day event will take place at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in Tremont, Pennsylvania. Rausch Creek is more than 1,500 acres of off-road heaven featuring a variety of trails, terrain, mud, and dirt. Participants will receive event Tees and “swag items” (sponsor promos, stickers, sponsor tees, etc).
Registration will begin on the Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the Comfort Inn Main Lobby in Tremont. On Friday after an 8 a.m. driver’s meeting, the Raptors will allowed to romp through 1,500 acres of the off-road park. At 7 p.m. the course will be shut down for a banquet and charity raffle.
On Saturday, the drivers will again run the course until 6 p.m., when a break for a feast will take place. While the drivers are stuffing their faces, the crew will modify the course for the night run. The drivers will then run the night course until 11:30 pm (off-road auxiliary lighting is required to participate in the night run). Sunday will be a long guided trail ride, which will take drivers through large sections of the course that are not normally accessed.
On the Ford Raptor Forum rules for the event have been posted:
1. A driver with a good attitude!
2. All maintenance up to date and no major issues.
3. Decent tires: We’re not going to go around and checking everyone’s tires but if you have very little remaining tread do us a favor and get them replaced before the event.
4. Spare tire/tires secured and located in the bed of the truck. Contact WSI & KHC for mounting solutions.
5. Helmet(s) – Mandatory for the closed course/high speed areas.
6. Tow strap at least 20 feet and two D rings rated to pull the truck.
8. Boots: You may have to get out into mud so have the appropriate footwear.
9. Outdoor clothing: This event is rain or shine so like above have the appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
The cost to participate is $300 per truck (includes driver plus one co-driver), each additional passenger is $50. The event is going to be huge.
