Not everyone is talented in everything they do, but Bryce Menzies seems to succeed at everything he does off-road. One of Bryce Menzies sponsors, Pennzoil, has released a public service announcement (PSA) with some extreme driving tips.
The video has a feel of an 1960’s black and white, public service announcement video. Everything has the feel of the old videos, besides the fact that it is in color and Bryce Menzies is driving his 900 horsepower trophy truck.
Bryce Menzies goes the whole video doing the opposite of what is being spoken. As the video explains a top notch driver shows self control, foresight, and good judgement. These are things that any race driver needs, to a point.
The PSA talks about how a good driver is cautious and courteous, while Menzies has other plans, drifting the trophy truck around a corner. One of our favorite parts of the video is when the PSA explains how a good driver does not take chances, and at that moment Menzies takes the truck off a jump.
Safe driving speeds is important, but does not apply to Menzies as he is hitting high speeds on a dry lake bed in the desert. The speed of your vehicle should be determined by the conditions of the road, but those conditions are thrown out the window when you are off-roading.
Driving on and off-road are completely two different things. The audio and the video show the total opposite of what driving on the street compared to off-road is like. Bryce Menzies puts on quiet the show in the video, showing the true power of his trophy truck and how to correctly drive off-road.
