AMP Research has introduced a new BedStep Trail Series bumper step for the Jeep Wrangler JK that provides a safe and convenient platform to access roof-mounted cargo, and soft-tops. The flip-down step is compatible with the factory and most aftermarket bumpers, and tucks underneath, so it won’t affect the vehicle’s ground clearance or departure angles.

The BedStep utilizes a precision spring-loaded cam mechanism that keeps it secure and rattle-free when it’s not in use. Yet the high-traction composite step pad (big enough for two large boots) can easily be deployed by pushing it down with your foot; making it convenient when carrying cargo to the vehicle. “We discovered that reaching for roof-mounted cargo or adjusting a soft-top was a real challenge for many Jeep owners,” says Mark Wronski, Director of Marketing at AMP Research. “The AMP BedStep Trail Series step provides a sturdy and wide platform that makes these tasks much easier and safer.”

The AMP Research BedStep for the Jeep Wrangler JK, (PN 75311-01A) is manufactured in the U.S.A. from high-strength aluminum alloy, and provides 300 pounds of secure, non-slip, load capacity. It fits both short-wheelbase 2-door and long-wheelbase Unlimited 4-door models, and comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
