Major League Baseball All-Star Game MVP Gets Choice Of Silverado

As if the Major League Baseball players didn’t have enough incentives to play a game, the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star game offers much more. Tonight, after the All-Star game, the fan-voted Ted Williams Most Valuable Player will have their choice between a beautiful red 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss, or a white 2020 Silverado HD High Country.

Both the American and National League will face off at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Cleveland Indians.

It’s pretty clear with the average salaries in this game that any of these players could go out and buy one of these trucks if they wanted it. But, if you don’t have to spend your millions, then why do it? Both trucks are equally as beautiful and powerful, but which would you pick? The trail-ready 1500 or the luxurious diesel-powered machine?

2019 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss

The 2019 LT Trail Boss comes in different engine configurations. It will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and powered by a 2.7-Liter turbo engine valued at $44,195, or it will be powered by the 5.3-Liter EcoTec V8 engine and the eight-speed transmission. While both engines will pack a punch, would you go for the V6 or V8?

The Z71 package on the LT Trail Boss comes with a factory two-inch suspension lift kit, 18-inch black wheels wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac Off-Road tires, Autotrac two-speed transfer case, and a great sounding dual exhaust system.

2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD High Country

The High Country is the most luxurious of the GM trucks. Not only are you getting state of the art interior and exterior, but it also comes with two different engine and transmission options. If you’re a gas guy, you’re in luck. The HD High Country has a 6.6-Liter V8 VVT engine and six-speed automatic transmission option and an Allison ten-speed automatic transmission behind the legendary 6.6-Liter V8 Duramax engine.

The V8 VVT gas engine is valued at $62,695 whereas the V8 Duramax is valued at $72,445.At the end of the day, someone is walking away with a bad to the bone truck and a million dollars of cash. Tune in tonight to see it all for yourself!
