Being able to get out of a sticky situation on the trail when you are alone can be downright frightening, but with the addition of a winch that can all change. Superwinch showcased the EXP Series at the 2016 SEMA Show.

The styling on the winch looks good on the showroom floor, but also will take care of any issue on the trail.
This line of winches comes in an 8,000-, 10,000-, and 12,000-pound capacity and is rated to IP69k wire or synthetic rope. “Our expedition series is our high-end winch,” Corey Meisenzahl of Superwinch explained. “The winch has two different models: integrated and non-integrated. The non-integrated model is used when someone wants a hidden winch.”
“Other highlights of this product are that it features task lighting, two external power ports, and it is a completely sealed unit,” Meisenzahl continued. “With the winch being sealed and IP69k rated it will work in three feet of water.”
The winch also features accessory rails for LED lights or even to mount a GoPro. One of the most useful features we found was the auto-engaging winch clutch. This covers a mechanical solution for winchers looking to re-engage the clutch after free spooling. With a simple tap on the winch controller, the clutch automatically re-engages the drive gear and the winch can be wound up.
This winch is loaded with features from accessory power ports to LED light mounts.
