Think back to the late ’90s and early 2000s. Remember all of those lifted Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs sporting the unmistakable yellow KC light covers? Well, a lot has changed since those days, but the mission from the folks at KC HiLites hasn’t. Their aim has always been to provide high-quality components for off-road enthusiasts and we got the lowdown from them on its latest components right here.
“We’re extremely excited to talk about the Pro6 this year,” Ryan Cobbs of KC HiLites told us. “The Pro6 gives enthusiasts the ability to install a round lighting option in a square lighting fitment scenario. For lighting options, enthusiasts need to decide if they want a fixture that is a radius or straight, but with the KC HiLites Pro6, the end-user doesn’t need to worry about that. They can actually take the bar and radius it to fit their needs.”
Cobbs said that because the Pro6 is adjustable, enthusiasts can adjust the fixture to allow up to forty-percent more light coverage, thanks to its patented hinge-system.
“It would be absolutely ludicrous for us to decide what the driver needs for their usage,” Cobbs continued. “Everything that we are doing today, we’ve designed, developed, and engineered so that the driver has control of the lighting. And because of this, that person can custom-tailor these assemblies to exactly their needs.”
“We have mounting solutions for virtually every application–whatever you need. We use industry standard light-mounting bar systems–but we can accommodate larger or custom applications as well. We also offer the frame system and the light system, all together in a kit available as one package,” Cobbs concluded.
Cobbs said that they torture test everything they offer; from thousands of miles of testing to off-road expeditions and more. Head over to KC HiLites‘ website here and checkout what’s available for your off-road application.
