From the American Made Off Road group of brands that includes CalMini (with decades of experience building performance parts and accessories for compact trucks and 4x4s such as Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, and Suzuki), Hanson Off Road (specializing in Jeep, Land Cruiser, and Bronco), Pure Jeep (Jeep XJ, TJ, and JK) and Full-Traction Suspension (Jeeps, and Ford and GM pickups) comes the new Full-Traction Suspension CRC (Constant Roll Center) Link.
The Full-Traction Suspension CRC Link is its newest suspension innovation for the Jeep Wrangler JK, and is an off road adaptation of the proven Watts Link design. We sat down with Steve Kramer of American Made Off Road to find out more about this new suspension product from Full-Traction Suspension.
“Nothing that has come along for the 2007 to 2014 Jeep JK Wrangler suspension system is quite like the CRC Link, and it can work with all brands of aftermarket lifts up to two-inches over stock height. It provides true and constant roll center geometry by applying a design that eliminates the problem. This system upgrade works to keep suspension geometry correct, improve handling on- and off-road, as well as strengthen the rear axle housing.”
A quick glance at the CRC Link system makes it plain to see that it also offers better ground clearance for the Jeep Wrangler JK, since everything (all bars) is on top of the axle. The CRC Link system eliminates the rear track bar, and replaces the factory axle mounts with much sturdier attachment points. Best yet, the CRC Link system is a fully bolt-on, with only minor exhaust modifications required.
The CRC (Constant Roll Center) Link suspension conversion kit is also available for left-hand drive models (USA) and right-hand drive models that are manufactured in countries such as Australia.
