With a large and well-strategized family of new products that will make outdoor adventure and exploring the rugged outdoors safer and more enjoyable, Warn Industries, Inc., wowed 2013 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show attendees. You will be blown away too when this equipment hits retail shelves.

A premium coating called Cerakote is used on the Warn winch hook, snatch block and the hardware of the tree truck protector pictured.
Ranging from updates to completely new products, Warn brought out products such as powerful winches; a snatch block, winch hook and shackle coated in Cerakote, a premium coating so tough even striking it with a hammer would not chip it; neoprene winch covers to keep your winch clean and dry; a winch damper to control line recoil in the event of a line failure; a premium tree trunk protector, and a few other items as well.
All of these products are meant to complement your outdoor adventure lifestyle. However, our favorite, and the highlight of the Warn family tree this year was undoubtedly the two new and improved winches — the Warn PowerPlant 9.5 and PowerPlant 12.
According to Brendan Anderson, VP Marketing of Warn, “we had winches similar to these two products, but we wanted to add some features, improve upon what we had and roll out product that was much more user friendly.”
“The new 9.5 and 12 are easily identifiable for what they are: capable of 9,500 pounds of pulling capacity and 12,000 pounds of pulling capacity, respectively. In addition, each is equipped with a powerful air compressor that can air up four 35-inch tires in a matter of minutes,” added Anderson.
Hand-held control can be switched over to remote control easily for the winches, as well as the built-in air compressors, and an LED on the winches provides feedback on motor temperature. The winch accessory kit includes a flexible 20-foot air hose, quick-connect couplers, Warn-brand tire pressure gauge and dual air chuck, and a sturdy carry bag.

The new PowerPlant 12.5 and PowerPlant 9.5 winches from Warn can handle 9,500 and 12,500 pounds of pulling capacity, respectively.
