If you’ve never experienced a Southern Rock Racing Series event, you haven’t seen all that the off-road community has to offer. Sure, there are plenty of desert races, mud bogging and drags, as well as hill climbs out there to take part in, but with the SRRS crew, you’re sure to see off-road rigs tackle things like no where else in the country.
Have your doubts? Well, just check out some of the shenanigans from the SRRS’ most recent event in the Busted Knuckle video above!
If you know the SRRS group by any other name, you probably know them as Rock Bouncers. That’s because that’s what they do–haul butt up a crazy steep hill, bouncing over the rocks as they go. But while their nickname of sorts may sound silly, what the drivers and their rigs are able to accomplish is serious business.
Check out more of what we mean in Part 2 of the Busted Knuckle video below from the SRRS Flat Nasty event:
Just two weekends ago, the SRRS held its second event of the year, taking over the Flat Nasty Offroad Park in Jadwin, Missouri. Running both May 24th and 25th, the event brought out 29 competitors and countless spectators to enjoy all the fun.
When all was said and over, Tim Cameron pulled out the win with 93 points for the weekend, followed by Nick Cooper and Peter Basler with 88 points each, and Shawn Tolson and Steven Woolsey with 80 points each.
These fantastic finishes bumped Cameron up to first place in the series thus far, with 181 points total.
He is followed closely behind by Tolson with 177 points and Basler with 171 points. Peter Ruttan and Bobby Tanner make up the remaining top-5 positions with 145 points and 140 points respectively.
The next SRRS event will take place later this month at Rush Offroad Park in Rush, Kentucky. Be sure to check it out June 28th if you’re in the area!
