Badland 3-Ton Off-Road Jack

Harbor Freight Tools’ Badland 3-Ton Off-Road Jack is made from steel and aluminum and features a lift height of over 29 inches. It also includes a dual-piston “Rapid Pump” system, heavy-duty solid composite wheels, and sealed wheel bearings that roll smooth and provide long life in off-road conditions. Additional features include durable stainless steel hardware, 7/16-inch aluminum side plates, and solid steel axles. This 72.2-pound jack also has an integrated top handle for carrying and a locking adjustable-height extension with grip pad. At the time this story was written, the jack was priced at $399.99. Pro Eagle “Kratos” 3-Ton Big Wheel Off-Road Jack

Pro Eagle’s flagship 3-ton Kratos off-road jack is one of five floor-style off-road jacks offered by the company. It was designed from the ground up to “perform flawlessly wherever needed.” A significant amount of development went into the jack, as illustrated by the fact that the pump is the result of 10 years of research and development.

The jack’s long list of features includes a maximum lift height of 28 inches with the included 8-inch extension. That increases to 35 inches with an optional 15-inch extension. Kratos weighs 68 pounds and is made of aluminum. Another cool feature is the jack’s standard mini BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 composite wheels. This feature was sparked by BFG’s use of Pro Eagle jacks in its Pit Support program. It’s worth noting that Kratos owners can upgrade to the new wheels by ordering a set from the company’s website.
