Things are crazy around the shop as the clock ticks closer and closer to the SEMA show. This week is no different as we are one week away. Off Road Xtreme is outfitting our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 which will be towing our sister site’s Factory Five Racing Cobra to the show.

This week we had Bestop in the shop adding some exterior accessories to the truck. In the shop was the Bestop PowerBoard NX, and the EZ Fold Tonneau that would be added to the truck.

The wireless system for the new PowerBoard NX system should make install nice and easy.

Everyone is familiar with the original PowerBoard electronic slide out side steps, but the NX system adds a whole new WiFi connection that makes install a breeze and faster then before. With the new system there is no need to tear apart the door panel and tap into the door wiring harness. This kit uses wireless sensors to notify the control box that a door was opened.

After all the work that is being done to the truck we look forward to wrapping it up with installing the EZ Fold Tonneau. It will literally cap off all the work to the truck. The install should be quick just like the PowerBoards.
