The success of the REKON line from WELD has led to the decision to make it the sole line of wheels dedicated to trucks. New designs, such as the B57 Bead-Loc and B58 Bead-Loc, will now come with a descriptor–XT, LT, or HD–to help describe which application a wheel is best suited for.

WELD, manufacturers of WELD wheels, has added new products to its line of REKON Off Road by WELD family of wheels and announced a restructuring of WELD’s entire truck offering. The expanded line was introduced at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

In the restructuring, all of WELD’s truck lines will now fall under the REKON Off Road by WELD brand and will include a complete offering of rugged forged performance truck wheels, all made at WELD’s Kansas City, Mo. facility. The REKON Off Road by WELD product line features products for on- and off-road vehicles, including eight lug applications. This line includes the forged one-piece REKON XT products, launched as the REKON product line at SEMA in 2013. Traditional truck wheels will fall under the REKON LT product line, and the company’s direct mount dually wheels will become the REKON HD line.

The REKON XT family will be significantly expanded based on customer demand.  An all new Area 51 design was on display at the WELD booth at SEMA, which will also be available in a 20×10” for eight lug applications.

The popular REKON XT B57 Bead-Loc wheel will be joined by an all new B58 design Bead-Loc wheel, also in 17×9” sizes for five and six lug applications.

The new wheel designs in the REKON XT line are estimated for a launch date in the first quarter of 2015.
