Now available is the Tundra Supercharger System for 2007-2016 Toyota Tundras with the 5.7L V8. The system has an OEM style and look, single large charger air cooler, larger plenum and tapered runners. While running at 7psi , the system pushes the import V8 to 550 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. CARB certification is in process and the system is Flex Fuel Ready.

The Tundra supercharger uses Magnuson’s adaptation of the Eaton Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger unit. The unit is designed for positive displacement and internally uses a roots style pump and Eaton’s lightweight four-lobe 160 degree twisted rotors. With this design, the supercharger does not compress air as it moves through the rotors. Because of this, light throttle and cruising are far more efficient. The TVS units have a bypass system for unwanted internal air which reduces parasitic loss and bumps up the economy.
