KC HiLiTES announces the availability of the new KC Gravity LED series lights powered by KC’s patented Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology. The KC Gravity LED series launches with 3 product offerings:

6” Gravity LED Inserts for KC halogen Daylighters and 6-inch Pro-Sports
6” Pro-Sport Gravity LED lights
4” x 6” Gravity LED Driving lights

Through the Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology, KC has combined the advantages of LED lighting with the proven performance of precision reflector optics. The GRD technology features two 10-watt LEDs that are faced at an angle toward the reflector. This maximizes their effectiveness and amplifies the amount of light that is projected out into the distance. The result is an extremely bright and highly efficient light that provides significantly greater distance vision.

A primary motivation for developing the KC Gravity series was the lack of distance associated with conventional forward-facing LEDs. This is a huge issue in the world of off-road desert racing as racers can easily reach speeds at night where they quickly find themselves out-driving the capability of their LED lights. The problem is, no matter how many LEDs you have, the light generated is greatly compromised due to their extremely small reflectors. KC’s Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology evolves that by significantly increasing the amount of light shaped and reflected forward out into the distance. In addition to these initial Gravity LED products, KC has aggressive plans to release additional Gravity LED lights in various sizes and applications.
