Prophets have always predicted that the world would end sooner rather than later. These days though, certain aspects of society do seem ominously close to falling apart. This has caused a rise of what many people call “preppers” who are planning for the end times, usually by hoarding food, finding an out-of-the-way shelter, and stocking up on guns and ammunition.
We’re not sure if this unbelievably huge Ford F250 6×6…truck…is part of some prepper’s plan, or just a big toy to enjoy at the mud bogs. But Autobahn Auto News came across this beast in the backwoods of Pennsylvania, and to our eyes it looks like the perfect prepper escape vehicle.
Just imagine a society on the verge of collapse, where roads are crumbling, roving gangs raid unwary travelers, and the world as we know it has gone to Hell. In these circumstances, would you want to be driving a prissy car like a Prius? No, you need something big, intimidating, and scary…something that would give bandits a second thought.
You need this truck.
We have no details on this beast, except that it is riding on pretty much the biggest tires you can get, has fuel tanks that look like they were grabbed from a semi-truck, and also has an upside down front clip beneath the rightside up grille on the front end. The body most likely sits on an actual military 6×6 chassis (probably leftover surplus) which means there is most likely a diesel engine under the hood. And diesel is the way to go when the world ends, trust us on that.
All told, this is one of the scarier trucks we’ve seen, and we’d want to be that guy’s buddy if the metaphorical crap hits the fan.
