As America gears up to celebrate its 250th birthday, Jeep is building a special-edition Wrangler that leans hard into heritage, freedom, and off-road identity. The new 2026 Jeep Wrangler America250 edition is a rolling tribute to American grit, wrapped in red, white, and blue attitude and backed by genuine Trail Rated capability.
The America250 marks the seventh release in Jeep’s ongoing “Twelve 4 Twelve” Wrangler series, a program that has steadily delivered limited-run models designed to celebrate the brand’s history, culture, and off-road roots. Previous 12 for 12 editions have explored everything from military-inspired Willys heritage to high-style lifestyle packages, but the America250 may be the boldest patriotic statement yet.
Built on the proven Wrangler Willys foundation, the America250 combines factory-ready trail hardware with a distinctly American visual identity.

Red, White, And Built For Dirt
Few vehicles carry the same symbolic weight as the Wrangler. According to Bob Broderdorf, CEO of Jeep brand, the special edition is “rooted in Willys heritage, engineered for real-world capability and unapologetically proud of the freedom that the Jeep brand represents.”
The formula starts with a Bright White exterior, but the details are what make this Wrangler stand apart. Jeep pairs a Jean Blue soft top with matching 17-inch Steel Oxide wheels, creating a denim-inspired contrast that feels both retro and modern at the same time. Red tow hooks front and rear provide an aggressive pop of color while reinforcing the Wrangler’s trail-ready intent.
The Willys DNA is obvious throughout the build. Jeep fitted the America250 with 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, steel rock rails, LED lighting, and body-color fender flares, giving it the kind of equipment off-roaders actually appreciate once the pavement disappears. Rather than creating a stripped-down showpiece, Jeep kept the America250 functional.

A Marvel-Inspired Twist
One of the more unexpected additions to the America250 package comes courtesy of Marvel.
Jeep partnered with Marvel Comics to include an exclusive Captain America shield spare tire cover, adding a comic-book layer to the patriotic theme. Buyers will also receive a limited-edition Marvel comic featuring Captain America alongside the Wrangler America250 on a unique collectible cover.
While collaborations like this can sometimes feel forced, the pairing works surprisingly well. Captain America and Wrangler both occupy a similar cultural lane — recognizable American icons associated with resilience, adventure, and rugged determination.
For collectors and Jeep enthusiasts alike, the comic book inclusion adds another layer of exclusivity to an already niche special edition.

Inside The America250 Wrangler
The patriotic theme continues once you climb inside.
The cabin receives exclusive Jean Blue cloth seats, tri-color red, silver, and blue stitching across the dashboard and steering wheel, plus red seat belts and recline straps that stand out immediately against the darker interior materials. Jeep also added anodized carbon trim pieces around the vents and steering wheel to give the cabin a more technical, performance-oriented feel.
One particularly cool touch is the Velcro seat-back patch system, allowing owners to personalize the cabin with additional patches and accessories.
The commemorative touches continue with an America250 swing gate plaque and a custom leather key tag debossed with America250 branding alongside an American flag motif.

Continuing The 12 For 12 Legacy
The America250 edition arrives as Jeep continues expanding its Twelve 4 Twelve series, a program that has quickly become a showcase for niche Wrangler personalities. Previous editions in the lineup have tapped into Jeep’s military history, desert-running culture, retro styling cues, and premium customization trends.
The America250 stands apart because it feels intentionally tied to a specific moment in American history. With the nation’s semi-quincentennial celebration approaching, Jeep is using one of its most recognizable vehicles as a rolling tribute to the country itself.
It also reinforces Jeep’s long-standing marketing identity. The brand notes that it has been recognized as America’s “most patriotic brand” for 25 consecutive years, making the America250 a natural extension of that messaging.

Pricing And Availability
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler America250 is expected to begin arriving at dealerships this summer. Pricing starts at an additional $2,095 over a comparably equipped Wrangler model.
For Wrangler fans who appreciate heritage-inspired design and factory-backed trail capability, the America250 checks plenty of boxes. It’s patriotic without losing sight of what makes a Wrangler special in the first place: removable tops, solid axles, serious off-road credibility, and a personality that still feels uniquely American.
