Over the last couple weeks ladies from all over have submitting their information to Poison Spyder to become the next Spyder Girl. This is not some mystical comic book hero, but someone that will help represent Poison Spyder at shows and in photos.

The entrance period ends August 31st, with the voting for the Spyder Girl running September 1st to the 8th. Nine finalists will be selected on September 8th as well. The winner will be selected on September 14th, winning a total prize package worth up to $2,400.

The winner better great ready quick, as the first event will be the Off Road Expo in Pomona, California, October 2nd to the 4th. Each of the nine finalists will receive a $100 gift certificate from Poison Spyder.

There is still some time to enter to become the next Spyder Girl but only through the end of the day, August 31st. Check out Poison Spyder’s website for a complete list on how to enter.

Poison Spyder is not looking for the next shop helper, the Spyder Girl does not need to be a Jeeper, own a Jeep, or even work on them. Everyone has their own opinion on what the Sypder Girl should do, but the final decision is made by Poison Spyder’s internal jury process.

The voting portion of the contest is their way of gauging popular support for the candidates, and narrowing the selection down to ten for their jury committee to choose from.
