GMC recently released its changes and updates to the 2015 Sierra. To no one’s surprise the changes are nearly identical to the 2015 Silverado 1500. However, that doesn’t necessarily make the changes any less exciting.

Potential buyers of the Sierra will see a lengthy list of new options for 2015. It begins with the elimination (and replacement) of two exterior colors: Stealth Gray Metallic and Cobalt Blue metallic. Those two will be replaced by Stone Blue Metallic and Emerald Green Metallic. Next Gen OnStar(UE1) including WiFi communications will also be included as will a spray-on bed liner option, USB jack in glove box, and a new off-road graphic in the DIC for the Z71 and All Terrain models.

2015 GMC Sierra HD All TerrainSeveral subtle changes will also take place for the Sierra from the 2014 models including HD radio feature being removed from all radios, hill start assist taking a little longer from 1.5 to 3.0 seconds, and chrome tow hooks becoming a factory installed option. E85 will also become a reality for those who desire it and the L86 6.2L V8 will become available in early Q4 (not available at start of 2015 MY production).

Not included in this list of released changes, but verified through GMC, is that the 2015 Sierra will offer the eight-speed transmission Off Road Xtreme broke the news about last month. You can see a complete list of other released changes so far below:
