It goes without saying that we love all things truck-related. From midsize pickups all the way to semis trailering across the country, trucks are equally great at performing work as they are at horsing around. One event is set to celebrate our favorite four-wheelers in less than a month – the Carlisle Truck Nationals – and it’s going down in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle Truck Nationals is currently being prepared by Carlisle Events, the same great organization that puts together Corvettes At Carlisle, Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals, and many other events. The Truck Nationals is scheduled for the weekend of August 3-5 and will take place at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, just off of the I-76.

There are many terrific attractions within the Truck Nationals that will excite any truck enthusiast. First and foremost is the Big Rig Show And Shine. Over 200 semi and heavy trucks are anticipated for 2018, and many trucking companies including SAIA, U.S. Logistics, United Vision, and others will be there to conduct interviews for trucking jobs. It’s a win-win for anyone looking to enter the trucking industry and also check out some radical semis. In addition, truck manufacturer Kenworth will be there to showcase its latest and greatest developments.

Off-roaders and diesel fans will get a kick out of the Truck Nationals thanks to a showcase featuring light trucks, custom vans, and custom SUVs. Bringing the family along is recommended, as the little ones can participate in kids’ activities and the parents can enjoy the vehicle showcase. What’s more, there will be monster truck shows and rides for the whole family to enjoy.
