Roaming the halls of the 2022 SEMA Show presented so many neat-looking vehicles, it is almost overwhelming. One of my missions was to find a unique and functionally built deluxe off-road or overland rig. I came across many that fit this criterion, but when I showed up at the ARB 4×4 Accessories booth, I liked what I saw. A new Bronco and a fully built Tacoma were the focal points, but all of the top-notch gear caught our attention.
ARB 4×4 Accessories Built A Search & Rescue Bronco In Collaboration With Ford
Any time I see an especially built search and rescue vehicle I will stop and take a gander. I immediately recognized this Ford Bronco in the ARB 4×4 Accessories booth from some of the press that Ford had sent out. Dubbed the Rapid Medical Aide Service Unit Bronco, ARB built this vehicle in-house to outfit it with all of its cargo, storage, and performance equipment.
On the Ford Media website, the vehicle concept summary states: ARB’s Service Unit Bronco SUV takes inspiration from the rugged, capable medical service vehicles used in the early 1900s and gives the concept a modern upgrade. Tube doors, an under-hood air compressor, a jack mount, a winch, and a light bar ensure that this Bronco custom creation can drive anywhere it needs to go.
The ARB equipment includes these Bronco-specific items:
- Twin Compressor & Accessories
- Ford Bronco Compressor Bracket
- Old Man Emu BP-51 Suspension System
- BASE Rack Roller Kit & Accessories
- Front Summit Bumper
- Intensity Lighting
- Rear Zenith Bumper
- Rock Sliders
- Under Vehicle Protection
- Rear Air Locker
- Differential Cover
- Storage Roller Drawer System
Some non-bronco-specific gear featured were the ARB Zero 47qt Zero Fridge Freezer, ARB Jack, and highly desirable ARB Recovery Gear.
ARB 4×4 Accessories Debuted The New ARB Intensity IQ Driving Lights
The highlight of the vehicle, for me, was the brand new ARB Intensity IQ Driving Lights. Just by looking at these units, I could tell they were very much different than almost everything else on the market. At a glance, they just look sleek.
My perception dramatically changed when Scott Harrington, the ARB 4×4 Accessories Rocky Mountain Sales Manager, demonstrated the Intensity IQ Driving Lights’ full dynamic capabilities. Designed with four separate lights in each housing, there is a super spot, spot, a flood, and a midrange. The Intensity IQ allows for independent controls, intensity adjustment, combinations of multiple lights, and projects as far as 1.3 kilometers in distance. It quickly became apparent that these were some of the most unique and advanced lights on the market.

Besides all of the super trick ARB equipment, the Service Unit Bronco SUV was fully tricked out to the max with some of the off-road industry’s finest gear, and then some.

ARB 4×4 Accessories Overlanding Tacoma
The other booth vehicle that caught my eye was this loaded-up Tacoma with all the goods and a super deluxe bed rack and camp kitchen. This thing was armored up front to back and underneath too!
ARB’s rear cargo rack on the Tacoma is made of Aluminum to keep it lightweight but has a steel sub structure to keep it sturdy. This is critical for vehicles with the non-traditional composite truck beds. With the Cab rack, rear cargo system, and drawer organizer, it seems this little truck could haul the world!
