I finally caught up with our friends over at Roadmaster Active Suspension at their SEMA booth where they had an immaculate Ford truck setup. As well as the display truck, they even had a frame set up with leaf springs out front that showcased how their product mounted and how easy it is to operate and adjust. Let’s take a look at the fastest growing rear suspension upgrade up close.
The active suspension kit is ideal for a variety of vehicles and functions; whether it’s carrying a load in a pickup truck, towing, traveling with your RV, or riding in a van, the active suspension kit will reduce squat and bounce while improving safety and stability. Wanting to know more about their trip to SEMA and their product, we caught up with Nolan Mast.
“2021 has been a big year for Roadmaster Active Suspension. To continue that trend, and because we have the most amazing customers, we are excited to feature an actual customer vehicle in our booth as we debut at SEMA,” Mast says. “We’ve been doing install demo’s on an actual customer vehicle, debuting a brand new in-store POP package, offering an exclusive SEMA show special, and giving away over $4,000 in products, POP, and merchandise.”
Instead of finding industry influencers that can help promote their product leading up to shows like this, Mast and RAS have kept it grassroots. They have used a customer that used airbags in the past and has since pushed their product completely on his own. “Issac here is the owner of this truck, and he is just a guy that bought our product,” Mast said. “He continued to go on forums and pages and just keep the name out there and for that, he’s earned this trip here with us.”
This is my fourth or fifth SEMA show and I really appreciate Roadmaster for doing it this way. SEMA has a reputation of having only celebrities, and getting people who aren’t mainstream here is awesome. Stay tuned because we’re looking to do some work soon with RAS where we do airbag removal and an active suspension install.
