At the SEMA Show, you’re guaranteed to see the newest products coming to the following year. As usual, Titan Fuel Tanks are the show’s leading company in oversize and auxiliary fuel tanks for virtually anything you can imagine. They mostly hit the truck and off-road market but can mold for a lot of applications. Here is what’s new from our friends at Titan.
It seems the buzz for the new Ford pickup trucks is still going strong. Specifically the 2017-2018 3/4 and 1-ton trucks and the all-new 3.0-liter Power Stroke F-150. We caught up with Mike Deford of Titan to get his take on the new products heading into next year and what they’re expecting out of them.
“With the obvious popularity of the new 3.0-liter F-150’s as well as the late-model F-2/F-350 trucks, we knew we had to get some molds going for those applications,” said Deford. “What we have here is our 65-gallon fuel tank for 2017 to current long bed Super Duty trucks and also a 55-gallon tank for the short bed trucks. All of our tanks, including this one, are 100-percent direct replacement tanks.”
The tanks that Titan manufacture are a molded, cross linked polymer made to hold up to modern fuel blends and fit in areas that competitors may not – utilizing every inch of available space for maximum fuel capacity. These new tanks were just released this week here at the SEMA Show and they will be ready to order in the next few weeks. We look forward to trying out of these mammoth tanks in the near future.
