There’s something beautiful brewing for the off-road market, and its name starts with EGR USA. The company is here at the 2017 SEMA Show, and it’s showcasing the new color-matched cab spoilers and fender flares.
We, as off-roaders, know the importance of a fender flare. We need them to keep the law happy (in certain states), but beyond that, they can protect the body from further damage. Our chat with Darrin Olsen and Autumn Lamb shed some light on the vision behind the accessories.
EGR's bevy of paint options runs the gamut of truck manufacturers. Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, and others are covered. On display was Oxford White, which is a Ford paint code.
“We launched these fender flares with color matching that we do in-house,” said Olsen. “We have our own paint booths, we mix the paint, and they match specific OEM colors.” Currently, the offerings extend as far as late-model vehicles only – about 2015 to present.
Also rolled out are cab spoilers. These may not be every off-roader’s cup of tea, but plenty of truck guys can get a kick out of these products.
“These are an injection-molded product,” said Olsen. “They come in matte black finish. We use 3M double-sided tape and polyurethane glue to attach it to the cab.” Go check out more from EGR on its website.

Since the matte black finish is UV-stable, it can go straight onto a truck without any fuss or preparation. It matches the same matte black finish that EGR has on hoods, window visors, and other products.
