As recent—and satisfied—owners of a new Covercraft car cover, we were psyched to see their display at SEMA and check out what these guys have been up to.
We got a sneak peek at the latest and greatest addition to the Covercraft family, a translucent product that carves out new territory in the car cover market as it keeps dust away, but lets an owner see the car and enjoy the scenery.
Intended for indoor use only, it’s perfect for man cave, lady lair, or “Garage Mahal,” duty. Along with the transparent material, the new cover incorporates one-piece side panels and is available in over 80,000 patterns in Covercraft’s database. Look for a March 31st, 2017 release date.
Next, we saw three products that are the marriage of Covercraft and the Carhartt work clothes brand, and it’s a match made in heaven. If you like the Carhartt “duckweave” fabric, Covercraft has transferred the heavy-duty material and all the design cues over to automotive duty with triple stitch seams, logos and all the durability we’ve come to expect from both companies.
First up are seat covers. Available for most SUVs, pickups and cars, they come in Carhartt brown, Gravel grey, or a new option “Real Tree Camouflage.” Stuffed pooches not included.
Whatever color you choose you get logo branding, rivets, back pockets and an exact fit for your seats. They even sew in blow out seams for the side airbags. The covers are tough as nails and protect against kids, pets and spills.
There is also a truck cover in a softer, non-scratch version of the duckweave fabric in Carhartt brown or Gravel grey. Again, triple stitches are utilized as well as logos at the front fender and across the tailgate.
Last but not least, there’s a new Carhartt branded sunscreen headed for release January 1st, 2017. The same Covercraft, hand made quality matched with a unique gold Carhartt color and logos. These are the Cadillacs of sunscreens and once you see the quality and custom made fit, you’ll ditch your current sunscreen forever. Go to Covercraft’s website for more info.
