Black Horse Off Road came in like a wild mare here at the 2014 SEMA Show, looking to make a big impact in a market packed to the brim with competition. The company from Woodside, New York was excited to exhibit its products to the aftermarket world at large running around the Las Vegas Convention Center, and brought along a sparkling clean 2014 Sierra to help showcase a few of these products.
Appropriately, the Sierra was colored Onyx Black. Up on the front end, the company was showcasing a popular item, the Bull Bar bumper. This particular unit was representative of a new addition to the line, that being the black powder coated style with stainless steel skid plate.
Moving around the truck, we caught a glimpse of the three-inch side steps done up in a black powder coat. These steps are constructed from tough T-304 stainless steel, and use custom polyethylene step pads that resist fading and cracking under the sun’s UV rays.
It was here where we also noticed possible concept parts, including rainguards covering the passenger and driver side windows, as well as out back, where a tow hitch step looked especially cool hooked up to the truck.
On top of that, we couldn’t help but notice the “8-lug” custom wheels wrapped by meaty Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs. The Sierra looked ready to rock as soon as the show was over, and we don’t doubt that it could be a fun ride to take in the surrounding Mojave desert.
