While walking the south haul (commonly called the wheel and tire hall) at this year’s SEMA Show, we happened to come across TSW’s booth displaying 28 new wheels. The Black Rhino Wheels (owned by TSW), specifically were eye catching. There are too many new styles to cover them all, but below are a couple of the ones we wanted to highlight.
If you are going to upgrade your wheels, then you want a wheel with a cool name. So, when someone asks you which wheels are those? You don’t answer with, “they are called ginger” or something like that. Black Rhino Wheels understands that and when they named their newest wheel, they called it TANAY. Tanay is the name of an area in the Philippines that boarders the Sierra Madre mountains.
Black Rhino Wheels refers to the TANAY as a split 6 spoke wheel with a simulated beadlock outer lip. The wheels are available in three pretty cool finishes:
- Silver with Machined Face
- Matte Black with Machined Face and Dark Matte
- Matte Black with Graphite Lip.
The wheels are available in 17×9, 18×9, 20×9 and 20×10 with a variety of off sets. The TANAY is available in the most popular 5 and 6 lug patterns.
Mint
For those of you who race in the desert, you already have an idea where this name came from. The Mint wheel gets its name from the MINT 400. The wheels feature a 10 spoke that is bowled inwards giving the wheel a little more depth. As with the TANAY wheel, there is a simulated beadlock around the lip as well.
It is available in either a Gloss Graphite, or a Matte Black finish. The wheels are available in the most common 5 and 6 lug bolt patterns and with the same sizes as the TANYA wheel.
Both wheels will be available the first part of next year and are sure to set your rig apart from everyone else in the parking lot.
