Tuning solutions have evolved dramatically throughout the years, with suppliers like Bully Dog advancing its products every time a new vehicle is released. Bully Dog supplies tuning solutions for virtually every new vehicle on the market today–from diesel trucks to SUVS, to modern musclecars and everything in between.
Adam Gloe of Bully Dog gave us a rundown of the company’s latest tuning capabilities for diesel trucks and off road vehicles, as well as EcoBoost powered cars and trucks. “The Bully Dog Big Rig (PN 40470) is based on a current platform. It’s a medium duty component, and we tested it in a multitude of medium duty scenarios–such as service and delivery trucks. This device is available now, and it’s based off of the SCT X4 platform.”
Adam explained that better fuel economy is a big advantage here. However, the big thing about these devices, including the new BDX tuner, is that they are specific for The Big Three. “With cloud tuning, you can upload a tune through advantage. The end-user, even with preloads, can hook-up to the Wi-Fi and can program their vehicle,” Adam said. “These units ship blank, so you don’t have to do any kind of updates. It’ll identify the vehicle, and it will only pull the files necessary to program the vehicle. It eliminates so many steps, like emailing back and forth, transferring to devices, etc.”
Bully Dog has numerous tuning devices available.
Adam also added that Bully Dog is adding more applications, as the unit is extremely new to the market–and there’s already a huge demand.
