The Mint 400 is in full swing out in Las Vegas, Nevada with the teams taking part in today’s time trials. Teams and drivers headed out to battle for position in Saturday’s race.
Taking home the fastest spot, finishing in 00:04:00.830 was the number 1 truck of Jason Voss. Coming off a win in the Baja 1000 just a few months ago, Voss looks to take down Justin Lofton who is the back to back winner. Lofton who took a DNF in qualifying will be starting from the back of the pack.

Safecraft’s Pat O’Keefe went for a wild ride in his number 106 truck. O’Keefe nose dived the truck and barrel rolled the Trick Truck twice before landing on all four wheels. Once settle the truck was off to complete the qualifying run and placed 57th.
The top 10 qualifiers at the end of the day were: Jason Voss, Harley Letner, Andy McMillin, Rob MacCachren, Bryce Menzies, Carlos Apdaly Lopez, Justin Matney, Derrick Sproule, Jesse Jones, and BJ Baldwin.
Bryce Menzies made it into the top 5 after being out of the driver seat due to some recent injuries.
Tomorrow the teams will be making their way through the maze at contingency in the last step before the green flag drops early Saturday afternoon.
