Tonka Motorsports’ Myan Spaccarelli have been lucky enough to have Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheel add him to its all-star lineup of sponsored drivers for the 2014 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Spaccarelli is the driver of the show-stopping Tonka Pro 2 competition truck, and this year the Tonka race truck will compete on Mickey Thompson’s legendary Baja Pro tires that were developed specifically for the demands of short course racing.

“We’re returning to the series this year with an impressive lineup, and Myan is a great addition to the team,” stated Ken Warner, VP of Marketing for Mickey Thompson. “Through our involvement in the series, Myan approached us for tires. We hooked him up with our Baja Pro’s for his Tonka truck, and he loved them. Just about everyone grew up with at least one Tonka truck, and having Mickey Thompson alongside Tonka Motorsports to support Myan this season is pretty incredible.” 

Spaccarelli joined the racing world full time in 2008, and his first stop was in Pro Buggy class competition. In 2010, he transitioned to Pro 2 competition. “To have the legendary Mickey Thompson brand behind us this season is a dream come true,” stated Spaccarelli. “The Baja Pro tires outlast and outperform any other tires we’ve used. The way these tires take on the harsh short course track is absolutely unheard of. It’s going to be a great season.”
