If you remember from a couple weeks we were at Currie Enterprises getting our F9 housing assembled. From out trip there we brought back the housing, leaf perches, and shock tabs all which would need to be mocked up.
Mocking up in off-road is huge, it is a key part of making sure everything will turn out correctly. We highly recommend that if you have the opportunity to test fit before making final welds.

We would be using some of the factory measurements, but with one huge change. We would be relocating the shocks to the outside of the frame rail, and would need to make sure we had clearance between the tire and the frame for the Bilstein 9200 series four-tube bypass shocks.
During this session, we would not worry about our upper shock mount as that would be calculated when the rearend is completed. With the bed still on the truck, the exact angle of the shock would not be able to be achieved.

From the look of the truck on our Bendpak lift, it appeared that the rear travel would be right in line with the front. The truck will have around 18 inches of wheel travel front and rear.
The project is moving along just at the right pace. We are making a strong push on the truck and on Project Redneck as we will have them on display at Off Road Nights in Temecula, California. Stay tuned for more information on the event.
