You wouldn’t believe the number of dazzling and awesome trucks we found at SEMA this year. Slammed, lifted, graphics here, brush guards and winches there. Standing out from the crowd, therefore, took a lot of work. The folks at WD-40 pulled it off with this excellent specimen of an F-150 seen in the video above. 

We got the chance to speak with Theresa Contreras, who was on hand to represent LGE*CTS Motorsports, the company that played a major part in developing the vehicle. First and foremost, she explained, was the exciting raffle taking place right now that will determine the lucky winner who will take this beautiful 4×4 home.

Benefitting the SEMA Cares Foundation, the proceeds derived from ticket sales would go toward three charities: Victory Junction, Childhelp, and the SEMA Memorial Scholarship. Tickets for this promotion, the SEMA Cares Charity Truck Raffle, can be purchased in three different options: one for $50, three for $125, or five for $200.

For a great cause and a great truck, it doesn’t get much better than this. WD-40 really went all out on this Ford, recruiting the help of none other than Chip Foose to draw up its design. Then the students at Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts (AXC) worked to turn the pickup into a reality, equipping it with superior aftermarket parts such as a Whipple supercharger, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system, Boatec fiberglass hood/fenders/bedsides, and AMP Research power running boards/bedsteps/tailgate extender.

During construction, the team also took advantage of the cool new Specialist products by WD-40. Corrosion Inhibitor, Water-Resistant Silicone Lubricant, and more found their way into the makeup of this successful build, and will keep it rolling on all fours, regardless of whatever lies ahead.

The distinctive paint was made and applied by LGE*CTS Motorsports. Adding up all the parts and labor, the truck comes out to a cool $80,000 value. We can’t wait to hear the results of the drawing when it takes place in May 2014.
