Pro Comp has introduced a cornucopia of new parts and accessories for pickup trucks and Jeeps that it is debuting during the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 5 to 6, 2013. Among them are lights, wheels, suspension components and tires.
The Pro Comp Pro Runner Suspension line includes four new Pro Runner Control Arms that use oversized stainless steel FK ball joints, and according to Chloe Eady, marketing coordinator, “the large uniball joints provide much greater strength than the OE units. Heavy duty 1.25-inch chromoly tube construction and reinforced pivot bushing mounts eliminate flex from harsh terrain. The large pivot bushings feature zerk fittings for easy maintenance.”
Two new shocks are also onboard — the Pro Runner 2.75C and the Pro Runner 2.oC Black Series. The 2.75C Coilover is the ultimate hand adjustable monotube coilover that can be used to raise the front suspension up to 2.5 inches. The 2.0C is not height adjustable, yet is custom tuned and valved for specific applications, and for the complete tuned ride, rear Pro Runner 2.0 shocks are available.
Applications for the Pro Runner suspension components currently include ’07 to ’14 Silverado, ’09 to ’15 F-150, ’07 to ’14 Tundra, and ’05 to ’14 Tacoma/FJ Cruiser, but more may be available in the future.Â
Pro Comp Explorer Lighting has arrived! New LEDs and HIDs now are a part of the Pro Comp line of truck and SUV lighting systems. You can get double rows of from 12 to 96 LEDs, single rows of from six to 48 LEDs, pod-style LED Sport Lights with four LEDS; and HID lamps (two floods and two spots) in 35 watt packages with peak beam intensities ranging from 14,400 to 50,625 candlepower.
However, our personal favorite is the new Pro Comp tire — a 40×13.50R17LT! According to Chloe Eady, “the tri-ply radial Xtreme MT2 mud-terrain tire has been in the making for some time, but we are happy with the results now, and plan on having it ready for retail in a February-March 2014 timeframe.”
