Jeep is kicking off summer movie season with a bang, partnering with Paramount Pictures for the new “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” in a clever new ad campaign. The centerpiece is a 30-second spot titled “Top-Down Inspection,” where the 2025 Jeep Wrangler truly shines.

The Jeep brand launches its summer movie marketing campaign with Paramount Pictures and its highly anticipated movie “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.”
The new ad starts with a couple checking out a Fathom Blue 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X in a showroom. As the salesperson talks specs, things get wild: the shoppers suddenly find themselves dangling from wires above the Jeep, just like Tom Cruise in that famous, sweat-inducing scene from the first “Mission: Impossible” movie.
Directed by Vince Peone of ArtClass and created with agency Highdive, the spot also throws in some high-octane clips from “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” which hit theaters exclusively on May 23.This is actually Jeep’s first time teaming up with the legendary “Mission: Impossible” film franchise. Lucy McLellan, head of Jeep brand global marketing & communications, said it’s a “natural fit,” as both brands are all about “the absolute peak of adventure and pushing the limits of capability.”
She hopes the campaign will “inspire audiences to embark on their own epic journeys this summer.” Michelle Hagen, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Worldwide Brand Partnerships at Paramount Pictures, agreed, adding the “iconic Jeep Wrangler is the only vehicle that could deliver the dynamic and exhilarating performance that audiences will see” in the new film. While the new Wrangler Rubicon X stars in the ad, the movie itself features Tom Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt, behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Audiences will also spot a Jeep Gladiator in the film.
Jeep is pushing this campaign hard across Television (TV), digital, and social media, with spots scheduled to run during big sporting events, including Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA) games, the National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft, Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) matchups, and Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) tournaments.Jeep’s “Top-Down Inspection” commercial is a smart nod to a classic movie moment that also shows off what the Wrangler is all about: open-air fun and go-anywhere adventure.
It’s a cool way to get fans excited for both the new “Mission: Impossible” movie and maybe their own real-world Jeep escapades.
