The 2019 desert racing season isn’t over yet, as racers head out to Laughlin, Nevada to take on the SNORE McKenzie’s Rage At The River December 12th to the 15th. This two-day event is one of the highlights of the series as it brings out some of the largest crowds of the year.
This is an action-packed race that features a smaller course, but also a landrush style start that puts two to three drivers line up side by side. There is not bad spot to view the race, and as a spectator of off-road racing, it should be on your list just as much as the racers.
“The main brass of the SNORE board of directors has become so confident of the event that this year’s showdown is expected to draw about 300 entries featuring a very fast short course,” Mike Henle explained. “Not to mention a view from the starting line that is so picturesque that professional photographers seemingly mark the event down on their calendars.”
Laughlin this time of year isn’t very busy, but SNORE’s effort to bring some excitement to the desert casino filled river town during December. The roar of off-road race rigs will be heard along the river in this yearly event.
All types of classes will be racing at this year's Rage at the River. Who will take home the crown in each class will come down to two days of racing.
