Here at the SEMA Show, we’re making our way through all of the halls. Were looking at the latest and greatest, and among them is AnzoUSA and its Xtreme Halo technology on its lights.
“These are our newer type of LEDs,” said Anzo’s Bee Thao. “They’re what’s known as an SMD, or Surface Mount Diode. In years past, we used LEDs on a circuit board. These didn’t have enough space for LEDs, or at least not as much as today. Now, with the SMDs, you can put more lights on a surface compared to the past.”
What this boils down to is bigger and better lighting. Also, the lifespan for the lighting goes up, too. “We see the lifespan go up to 50,000 hours,” said Thao. “So our customers can expect their lights to last a lot longer.”
AnzoUSA's new Xtreme Halo technology places more lighting power into its products.
Development on the Xtreme Halo technology took about a year, according to Thao. The technology can’t be purchased on any lights off of the shelf right now, but that’s going to change soon. “We want to get this technology out right after the Show,” said Thao. “We are in production on some of the newer applications. For other models, we are working our way backwards in years. We’ll have plenty of offerings by the time we roll everything out.”
Halo lights from AnzoUSA are a great way to outfit your rig and give it some style. Once the Xtreme Halo technology rolls out in force, they’ll be even better. Find out more on AnzoUSA’s website, and stay tuned for more SEMA coverage.
