Tube doors are more than just a stylistic statement. They’re a symbol that you’ve taken the next step with your Jeep Wrangler, one where you’re actually keen to get the vehicle off-road and take on all challenges.

Fab Fours now offers such units, and they’re the right sort of product to keep your Jeep looking killer and staying tough. We reached out to Fab Fours’ Kermit Baker to learn more.

Fab Fours’ tube doors were designed in 3-D. They’re CNC laser cut, fabricated, and powder coated, all right here in the U.S.

“The vision behind making these tube doors actually came from the Jeep JK, the ‘LEGEND,’ we debuted at SEMA 2014,” said Baker. “It had a four-inch chopped top, and 50-inch tires with nothing more than a leveling kit. This aggressive stance gave it a really cool rat-rod look that we are very fond of here at Fab Fours. The design and shape of the integrated visor pulls off this look without sacrificing the height of the Jeep.”

There are a number of features that indicate the level of quality for these doors. Just to name a few, they are a full surround design, are rattle resistant, use factory-style hinges and limiting straps, and have an integrated sunvisor.

“To achieve the rattle-resistant qualities, we designed the perfect landing spot for an OE style bulb seal,” said Baker. “The bulb seal also creates the perfect amount of pre-load on the door. The fact that this is a full tube door also aids in the rattle resistance. The door just feels really solid.”

In terms of materials and dimensions, the doors are made from 1.5-inch OD tubing and weigh 45 pounds. They come with a two-stage matte black powder coat, or as bare steel for you to paint as you see fit. As an option, you can order a mirror bracket to complement the front doors.
