More horsepower equals bigger sand roosts.

The 925cc engine slams out 168 horsepower, the new RZRs have only 6 less horsepower than a Honda Civic. To handle the extra power of the new high output motor, POlaris bumped the sizes of everything.

To support the higher horsepower, the entire system have been upgrade. A stronger drivetrain was designed and installed to handle the extra grunt as well as a 20 percent larger radiator. To help cool the radiator down is a powerful variable speed brushless fan the pulls air through a 40 percent larger front grille area.

All the Polaris systems are tuned to work perfectly together to give the driver and passengers the best experience possible.

Polaris boasts of having the most premium suspension system available. The Fox Podium Internal Bypass Shocks are exclusive to this vehicle that Polaris says delivers the plushest ride and best handling found on a side-by-side. Up front, both 2 seat and 4 seat models feature 2.5-inch diameter shocks with 24-position adjustable remote reservoirs and increased fluid capacity. The rear features 3-inch diameter body shocks with the same adjustability so the ride can be custom tailored to the driver and terrain. There are five compression zones that allow the suspension to react accordingly to various size bumps, dips or obstacles in the road.

Harsh terrain is no match for the RZR XP Turbo.

Both the 2 seat and 4 seat variations utilize a dual A-arm independent suspension system up front to garner 16-inches of wheel travel while the rear uses a trailing arm system to get 18-inches of travel. Both front and rear of the RZR benefit from a specifically designed stabilizer bar for flat cornering. Electronic power steering is standard.

Behind the 29-inch diameter, Maxxis Bighorn tires and cast aluminum wheels is a full set of hydraulic disc brakes with triple-bore front and dual-bore rear calipers. The transmission is an automatic Polaris Variable Transmission (PVT), which is Polaris’ version of a constantly variable transmission (CVT). The Polaris design offers a high-performance true on-demand all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive system.

Overall, the two-seater is 119-inches long and the four-seater is 149-inches. Wheelbase is 90-inches and 117-inches respectively. Each carries a 9.5-gallon fuel tank. Dry weight is 1,495 and 1,691 pounds. Both vehicles are 64-inches wide and just shy of 74-inches tall.
