Factory custom trucks are a growing segment in the automotive world. Vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Ford Raptor have helped to pave the way for others. Ram is taking part in the expansion as well the new Ram 1500 Night. “Much like our incredibly successful Ram Rebel, the Ram 1500 Night fills the growing customer demand for factory-custom trucks,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Brand, FCA – Global. “Truck enthusiasts want vehicles that define their personality and style. The new Ram Night package builds upon the Ram Sport – one of the best looking trucks on the road – and adds black-out details that custom truck enthusiasts revere.”
The Ram 1500 Night features blacked out badges, 20-inch black wheels and has all the same options of a Ram 1500 Sport.
The Night package is available in all cab styles of the 1500 Sport models and is available with both two and four-wheel drive. Engine options include the 3.6L Pentastar V6 or the 5.7L Hemi V8. Most of the typical Ram truck options are available including the RamBox, adjustable tie-down systems, running boards and Mopar Performance upgrades.
The new Ram 1500 Night package adds:
- A black grille surround with black “Hex Perf” pattern inserts
- Bold “RAM” stamped tailgate with blacked-out lettering from Ram 1500 Rebel model
- Black Ram’s head grille badge
- Flat black Ram 1500 door badge

Getting a factory performance and custom vehicle allows buyers a leg up on getting a standard stock vehicle right off the lot, helping to differentiate themselves straight out of the gate. More information on the 2017 Ram 1500 Night will be on the Ram website soon.
