We had the chance to stop by and see what Terrible Herbst Motorsports has been up to since our time with them during the Vegas to Reno race. The shop had plenty of things going on.
The team was prepping their two Trophy Trucks for qualifying next week in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Baja 1000. The trucks will also be on display at the SCORE Experience during this year’s SEMA show.
On top of prepping the trucks they are working on building two new Trophy Truck chassis‘. The fabrication area of the shop had plenty of work done on the frames, but plenty of parts waiting to get installed.
With the Baja 1000 right around the corner the Terrible Herbst Motorsports’ prerunners were also getting prepped to head to Baja. “Once we get back from SEMA and qualifying we head down to Baja November 13th to start prerunning the Baja 1000,” Todd Gorsuch said. Each driver has their own truck to prerun, everyone is able to get plenty of seat time.
Everyone in the shop had something specific to work on, whether it was welding on the chassis, prepping the Trophy Trucks, or getting the trailers ready to haul the trucks to Vegas. No one was standing around with their hands in their pocket not getting something done.
It was great to see and catch back up with everyone we saw back in August. We will track how the team does in qualifying next week, as well as catch back up with the team down in Mexico during the Baja 1000.
