You have got to love the digital age. In the above video you get to watch four different camera angles of Keith Minnick running his Class 7 truck at the 2014 Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts (SNORE) Rage At The River, hosted by McKenzie’s Performance Products.

Back in 1969 when SNORE was first started, you’d be lucky to get much more than a few pictures of the competition, let alone a full series of videos covering the entire race. Many racers use in car video to help with a postgame recap of the race so as to better improve for the next event.

Keith Minnicks Racing (KMR) started day two of the event with a 15-second lead on Matt Lovell. At the beginning of the video, that is Lovell to the right, ripping up the dirt alongside Minnicks. The number 7234 KMR Ford Ranger took the lead and at one point has a quarter mile lead. Unfortunately though, the truck loses power and gets left in the dust. The co-pilot says he heard some unusual banging in the back end of the rig and Minnicks says the motor has lost power. Ultimately, the power loss was due to a broken spark plug wire that was arcing out on another component.

KMR did get their rig back up and running, though we don’t see that in the video. The truck finished in 4th Place with an average of 42.8 miles per hour on the first day and 26.7 miles per hour on the second. Lovell finished in first with an average of 42.3 miles per hour for both days.
