There we were in the Central Hall, and what was that light glow emanating from the middle towards the walls? It could be none other than Baja Designs, the lighting company hailing from San Marcos, California, with more than 20 years of experience in crafting killer lights and accessories.
We caught up with Pauline Salazar to get a better sense of what was up for review at the company’s booth. We talked about three things in particular: the OnX6 line, as well as the Squadron Pro and Sport series.
The OnX6 line represented some of the newest thinking to make a production run at Baja Designs. The light bars come offered in 10-inch increments in whatever size customers desire, and sport a handful of features that separate them from those of the competition.
These include the impressive 6,450 lumens projected by each 10-inch block, replaceable lenses and optics to increase DIY-ness and customization, and 5000K color temperature that closely follows the color of regular sunlight to ward off driver fatigue and aching eyes.

The Squadron Sport line meets in the middle to give enthusiasts an entry into bright, useful LED technology without high costs.
The Squadron XL Series (pictured at top), on the other hand, project 4,300 lumens while drawing 42 watts, and feature an LED life expectancy of nearly 50,000 hours, or the equivalent of almost six years. XLs offer three interchangeable lenses to use with the light, where XL-Rs do not.
Finally, we got around to the Squadron Sport models, meant more for novice or economical-minded enthusiasts who “want to look like a racer without spending racer money,” said Salazar. “Versus the Pro, the LED produces less wattage, but you still see a really bright light for the cost. We think this will be a big hit with our customers.”
We think so too, and challenge you to check out additional information on Baja Design’s products by visiting the company online or by phone with the contact information provided below.
