With a large amount of Jeep JKs on site at the 2014 SEMA show, there is never any doubt as to their popularity or the fact that they are here to stay going forward. When we caught wind that Poison Spyder was going to be making their SEMA debut at this year’s show, we knew we had to catch up with them to see what’s new. Poison Spyder has been known for their diverse selection of bumpers, fender flares, rock sliders, body armor, skid plates, and more and have built a name for themselves with their quality and customer service.
At their booth, we met with Dusty Sharp, Poison Spyder’s Marketing and Product Development Manager to discuss their SEMA debut and most importantly, their new JK LED Tail-Light Wiring System. Sharp explained, “The JK LED Tail-Light Wiring System is our latest product offering and one we are proud to show at our first SEMA. This system plugs directly into the stock Jeep’s wiring harness and allows you to convert over to LED from the stock lighting system. It has two leads for LED reverse lights and a lead for the third brake light with enough wiring to allow you to mount your third brake light on one of our bumpers or in the stock location.”
What’s more, as with anything made by Poison Spyder, they had it designed with the DIYer audience in mind. Sharp added to this point by saying, “The cool thing about it is a lot of people are intimidated by wiring, they don’t want to start cutting into their brand new Jeep’s factory wiring harness – but with this, there is no change to the factory harness at all and it is perfect for the DIYer.”
Sharp wasn’t finished with just the wiring harness and quickly added, “Over the next 60 days, you will see a lot of new products from us.” With exciting news like that, keep your eyes pealed to the Poison Spyder homepage and Offroad Xtreme!
