At the 2014 SEMA Show, the company introduced two new products for the Jeep Wrangler, a functional hood vent and hood cowl that fits 2007 to 2015 Jeep JKs.

Dave Edelman at Daystar told us that “the new Daystar Hood Vents are easy to install and come complete with all the necessary hardware to do the job, and an installation template is provided to make it all go smoothly. We are also very proud of the fact that these functional hood vents for the Jeep Wrangler are made in the U.S.A.” The hood vents are said to reduce under-hood temperature by as much as 14-percent, and you can keep your under-hood insulation.

The company’s Hood Cowls are also made in the U.S.A., and all necessary hardware is included, as well as an installation template that makes the job a no-brainer. Edelman said, “The hood’s structural integrity is retained with our Hood Cowl kit, and it’s paintable. As a matter of fact, we suggest that consumers paint our hood cowl and hood vents to protect them from UV damage.”
