If you are anywhere near Bowling Green, Kentucky, you have got to get your 4×4 over to the Wishbone Ranch during the weekend of September 27-28, 2014 for the Ride South Off-Road Event sponsored by Holley. You could win $500 worth of Holley product and much more! Wishbone Ranch boasts over 110 acres with over 20 trails that attendees can enjoy with their 4×4 vehicles. Four wheeled ATVs and side-by-sides are also welcome (motorcycles/three wheelers are not permitted).
Open trail riding is available on Friday the 26th from noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturday morning is the main event day, with Wishbone Ranch opening at 6 a.m. The Holley EFI Bump and Hustle obstacle course competition takes place at 10 a.m. on Saturday the 27th, and trail riding is open until 7:30 p.m. The Wishbone Ranch will also be available for open trail riding Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Ben Coffman and his 600 horsepower Ultra4 buggy powered by Holley Terminator EFI will be present at the event. Ian Johnson, host of Xtreme Off-Road TV, will be present at the event with his Holley-equipped Big Tire Garage 4×4 as well. Both vehicles will be staged by the Holley booth so make sure to drop by and see how Holley products can help achieve your off-roading goals.
The Bump and Hustle is a timed event and the fastest through the course wins a $500 Holley product certificate! Registration will take place at the barn near the entrance of the park. Classes will be broken down into tire size, so participants should feel free to run any tire size they want. Those that desire to participate in the Bump and Hustle obstacle course competition will need to register and pay an additional $10 per run. Those wanting to register for a second time can do so at the site of the Bump and Hustle course. The maximum amount of runs allowed is two.
Admission to the event is $25 for three days (Friday through Sunday), $20 for two days (Saturday and Sunday) for participants and spectators alike. Saturday only is $20 and Sunday only is $10. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Gunny’s food vending services will be on site and ice will be available for purchase. Camping is available.
