Every year when the weather cools, the ghost and goblins come out, but it also marks the return to the desert. To kick off the countdown to the dunes the 2017 edition of the Sand Sports Super Show took place at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California.

Walking the grounds of the show no matter where you looked there was plenty to see.

This three-day event brings out the best in the Powersports and sand car industry. An event that used to be dominated by motorcycles, ATVs, and sand cars, has been taken over by the side-by-side market.

There was plenty to do at the show even if you took a break from looking at all the amazing vehicles.

As far as you could see there were UTVs spread across the fairgrounds in all brands, colors, and surprisingly, sizes too. From the latest Polaris to Yamaha and Can-Am, they were all out in force showing off what they could do.

If you want to see the hottest UTVs, this is the show for them. The side-by-sides covered the fairgrounds.

This year there were no races attached to the show, but in its place was the Yamaha driving experience. This was a driving experience for enthusiasts and possible YXZ1000R buyers could test the side-by-side out in a controlled environment.

Yamaha brought out some side-by-sides for enthusiasts to take one a short spin to see how they performed.

In addition to the manufacturers, the fairgrounds were flooded with the top names in the industry showcasing products for the Powersport and off-road market. From suspension to lights everything could be found walking the Orange County Fairgrounds.

At the show, there were plenty of manufacturers and plenty of RVs and Toy Haulers for families to explore.

Up next for show season is the Off-Road Expo in Pomona, California September 30th – October 1st. Did you head out to the Sand Sports Super Show? Tell us in the comments below!
